Farm or Region History / Background Type “Honey Highlands” coffee is mostly coffees from various regions surrounding the famous Mt. Kenya and Mt. Elgon. “Honey “is a special name given to these coffees due to their unique preparation from farm level to the cup and further stages.

Farm / Estate Processing Techniques The coffees are 100% handpicked from the coffee trees and sorting is repeated at the sorting ground in the factory to ensure only ripe red coffee berries are remaining. The red ripe coffee berries are then placed on the African raised beds and exposed to the sunshine for them to dry. The red coffee cherries are then left to dry slowly and gently until a complete dryness which allow them to be stored and transferred from the farm to the dry mill for processing.
