History: Producing coffee is one the main activities of the village El Tunel, located at La Palma in the department of Chalatenango. El Progreso Estate, an small coffee plantation owned by Ms. Felicita Ditamar, known as Doña Dita, who is a genuine woman in coffee, producing coffee since long ago. Her coffee is getting good name among micro roasters who are looking for special quality. El Progreso belongs to the Cooperative ‘El Tunel.
